If diamonds are a girls best friend, then what are pearls?

I got busy and did some research. Curiosity had gotten the better of me after purchasing some in my travels recently- hence becoming a permanent fixture on my dressing table. Everything about them I love - where they come from, the purity of colour and the fact they add an elegant touch to any outfit. Thus further investigations only increased my love for the transculent tiny cream bobbles so delicately carved of calcium - Author of Vogue quotes 'Diamonds may be a girl's bestfriend, but pearls become the woman'.

Another fashion designer came up with the nifty acronym of remembering how to dress and act in life: PEALS: Poised, elegant, attractive, radiant, ladylike, sophisticated'.

Personally I struggle to attain to such actions all the time - therefore I'm thinking if the pearls arn't handy -  perhaps opt to simply wear the 'pearls of wisdom' your friends will always love and adore you for.
